Inova Alexandria Hospital – Our Current Pledge

The Twig’s current 3-year pledge for $500,000 will fund a Leica Breast Reconstruction Microscope and help the hospital achieve a Level 3 Trauma program. On June 7, 2023, after a successful fundraising year, The Twig was able to disburse $200,000 of that pledge.

In 2022, The Twig provided $125,000 toward funding the on-site Simulation Skills Lab and the Patient Financial Assistance Fund.

Previously, The Twig’s pledge for $1 million helped the hospital renovate the Cardiovascular Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (CVNICU) with infrastructure upgrades, state-of-the-art clinical space, private patient rooms and aesthetically pleasing surroundings with space for families, patients, and caregivers. The CVNICU renovations increased patient room size, including private showers and bathrooms; space for family with room to sleep; and more functional space for nurses.
