In June 2010, The Twig pledged $1 million toward the construction of the hospital’s second floor expansion as part of Project 2010. Twenty-four single-patient rooms will provide post-surgical care to patients recovering from surgery. The Twig completed this pledge in June 2016.

In 2010, The Twig completed a pledge of $750,000 to fund the Twig Pavilion. Today, the Twig Pavilion is an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) with the primary goal to provide transition level care to patients who while stable, still require a high degree of support and monitoring. The IMCU patient population consists of patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including respiratory disorders, Ventilator/Tracheostomy management, chronic and advanced heart failure, advanced pulmonary hypertension, and other diseases/health conditions.
